How to play WorDungeon, the word roguelike
WorDungeon is a free roguelike word game that plays like Wordle, right in your browser, with no account and no daily limit. Every floor is a boss that hides a word and sets its own trial. This page covers the rules, lives, bosses, relics, score and records
The goal
Guess the word each boss hides, floor after floor, and get as deep as you can. Words are 4 to 7 letters long. The run is endless and ends only when you lose your last life, and every new run starts at floor 1

Lives
You start every run with 3 lives. Fail a trial (out of tries, out of time or a lost duel) and you lose a life, the boss picks a new word and the fight starts again. When the last life is gone, the run ends and shows your floor and score. Lives you find along the way stack with no limit
Bosses and trials
Every floor is a boss, and every boss has its own trial. It can be the classic 6 tries, a duel on a shared board with turns and 45 seconds a move, two to four words at once, a clock on the fight or on each row, clues that lie, fog, mirrored colors, green-only clues, a keyboard without colors, an anagram, a riddle with the word's meaning, a missing word in a sentence, sealed or frozen letters, a hidden word length, or phases with their own rules. Relics
After every win you choose 1 of 3 relics. They come in four rarities, common, rare, epic and legendary, and they stack with no limit: take Keen Mind twice and you get 2 extra tries. There are 7 relics in total

Charges and hints
Some relics give charges, which are hints you spend whenever you want. Torchlight shows one letter in its place, Vowel Sight shows which vowels are in the word, and Echo tells you if a letter repeats. Secret Passage is a charge too: it skips a floor, and you still choose a relic
Score
A floor gives up to 100 points, mostly for solving it fast and in fewer tries. A skipped floor gives no points, but you still choose a relic
Records and leaderboard
WorDungeon keeps two records: the deepest floor and the highest score. Each has an all-time and a weekly leaderboard. The server checks every run, and your record grows as you play, after each boss
Word languages
Bosses hide words in 13 languages: English, Spanish, Portuguese, Russian, Kazakh, German, French, Italian, Dutch, Polish, Ukrainian, Indonesian and Uzbek. You choose the word language before each run: new players are offered English, and later your last choice. The menus and texts come in 100 languages
